An organisation that is very dear to my heart is the Royal Society of the Protection of Cruelty to Animals

The RSPCA carries out amazing work that I truly admire

I have copied the RSPCA Five Freedoms from the RSPCA website 

'Five Freedoms

1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst
By ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health and vigour.

2. Freedom from Discomfort
By providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area.

3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease
By prevention by rapid diagnosis and treatment.

4. Freedom to Express Normal Behaviour
By providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal's own kind.

5. Freedom from Fear and Distress
By ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering.'

Myself and my family have re-homed many animals from the RSPCA shelters over the years, animals that have brought us much joy and love

To do my bit to help out this very special charity along with my usual donations throughout the year, I made several donations over the Christmas/ New Year peak period of Cans of Dog/Cat Food, Cat Litter and Blankets for Bedding.
